I know that when I have problems at home or I'm fighting with someone, there are people on both sides. They get both points of view. But online is different because we only know the one side. And, to be honest, I like that because obviously I think my side is the better one when in disagreemenets. Sounds selfish but it's true.

I know that I kept some pretty big secrets and I got depressed. I ended up cutting myself a couple times until I finally got help and talked to someone. Not everyone harms themselves though. Personally I feel slightly less stressed when I talk about my problems and can see how other people view them. It's nice to know that we aren't alone in this world and that there are people to comfort us, and that we can comfort.

2006-08-16 [Soul Assassin]: dhom keeping secrets isn't selfish...everyone has secrets they'll tell no one, ever. and in the end nothing can ever truely be shared or understood so it doesn't really matter whether you keep it or give it. in no way does that make you a bad person. i'm very open about my depression etc with most ppl, and prettymuch anyone if they ask, but i share very little of my true self...because in sharing it loses something, and why would i share with people i'll probably never have around for more then a few years anyhow?

i guess if those secrets where driving you to harm yourslef...i'd share...because i've commitments i have to stick around for...but if i was free...i wouldn't share and i wouldn't be here a second longer then necessary

And in my experience, when periods are irregular, they normally come 5 days early. And depending on when she hit puberty she could be very regular by now.
But you do raise some very good points. Like how the beating could've triggered an abortion.
However, you don't have the right to rant at her. Even if she is faking it, she already has enough problems in her life without you accusing her of skipping sex and having a "severe histrionic disorder mixed in with a compulsion to lie."

2006-08-20 [Always Hope]: I'm almost 20 and my periods are really irregular still. I've skipped four months at a time and, when I do finally have a period then, it will be really light for just a day. So it is possible to skip a month or go past 45 days.

So basically she's given the three of us the finger right off the bat and now we don't know what to do with her.
